4 Tips to Lose Weight without Feeling Hungry
How to lose weight without feeling hungry.
Are you trying to lose a few pounds? Do you find yourself hungry all the time?
Just because you’re trying to lose weight, doesn’t mean you have to deal with a grumbling stomach. Here are some easy tricks to keep you feeling fuller longer and help you lose weight without feeling hungry.
Tip 1. Eat more whole grains
While refined grains, like white flour, white pasta, and white rice will cause you to feel hungry just a short time later; whole grains, like brown rice, oats, millet, and teff will leave you feeling satisfied much longer.
When eating pasta, be sure to choose whole-grain pasta, such as brown rice pasta when eating pasta. (But don’t bother with cardboard-tasting pasta. Here’s how to choose the best-tasting whole-grain pasta.)

Tip 2. Eat more legumes (beans, chickpeas, lentils)
Studies have shown that those who are able to lose weight and keep it off consume an average of 33% more fiber than their overweight counterparts.
As an added bonus, a diet rich in legumes may also boost your metabolism.
(Hint: Here’s how to cook legumes so they digest more easily.)
Tip 3. Eat more potatoes
Both regular potatoes and sweet potatoes contain hunger-fighting chemicals. A study in the British Journal of Nutrition found that eating these foods may boost satiety — and help you eat about 320 fewer calories per day.

To whom it may concern I am curious about your weight loss program but I don’t see enough details on the plan such as how many meals does your program recommend and how many hours in between meals should u not be eating any foods or does your program recommend u to graze all day? And is it plant based or meat consuming thank u?
Hi LaDelle,
Thank you for your interest in the weight loss program.
The program is very flexible and can be adapted to meet individual needs, but the meal plans include 2 to 3 meals a day with sufficient time between meals to encourage healthy digestive system functioning. The program focuses on whole, plant-based foods, but it can be customized for individual needs and tastes.
I hope this helps.

Hi, I’m a type 1 diabetic, I already follow a whole food, plant based diet and am pretty active. We’ve tried a few of your recipes and they were delicious! They all look really good! Have you had any success stories with this lifestyle in improving or possibly getting rid of type 1 diabetes? I was also wondering if any of the recipes had a breakdown of carbs etc? I know you don’t need to worry about the carbs but being diabetic I need to put into my pump how many carbs I’m eating so I get the right amount of insulin?
Thanks!
Hi Randa,
Thank you for your comment. I’m so happy to hear you enjoy the recipes.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the breakdown of carbs for my recipes. However, those with type 1 diabetes who have join my program have had excellent results. They did not completely reverse diabetes, but they all experienced improved blood sugar control and a few of them commented that other health issues disappeared and they slept better at night.
