Why you need one
One of the most basic tools in every kitchen is a good cutting board. You’ll be using it nearly every time you cook (just like a good chef’s knife) to chop, slice, and dice.
Choose cutting boards made from softer materials such as wood, plastic, or rubber. Avoid cutting boards made from hard materials such as glass, ceramic, marble, and granite. These will weaken and dull the edges of your knives.
Where to find one
I like these cutting boards because they are easy to clean, don’t dull my knives, and have grippy edges to keep them in place while I’m cutting.
