Measuring Spoons

Why you need them

Measuring spoons may seem like such a small and rather insignificant part of cooking . . . until your salad dressing is blah and the waffles are too salty because of inaccurate measuring.

A quality set of measuring spoons are essential for good, consistent results in baking and cooking. For the most accurate and easy measuring, choose spoons that are deep.

I highly recommend high-quality stainless steel measuring spoons rather than plastic. They are easier to use and don’t melt if they get nudged too close to that stove hot burner and combined with the fact that they simply hold up longer more than justifies the very little extra they cost.

Where to find them

These measuring spoons are good.

If you do a lot of cooking, it is especially helpful to have two sets of measuring spoons – one for liquid ingredients and one for dry ingredients.
