Last week I had the unique opportunity to meet and observe the wonderfully talented chefs at the Boone Tavern (not really a tavern as this is a dry county) kitchen and they surprised me with an absolutely delicious dish made especially for me.
Wow! What a treat! And fresh flavor like you wouldn’t believe!
If you are ever in or near Berea, Kentucky, you will want to be sure to stay at the charming Boone Tavern Hotel for a unique experience and treat yourself to a fabulous meal at their award-winning restaurant.
Or even if you don’t have plans to be in the area – you may want to consider visiting this quaint little town for your next vacation. Berea – home of Berea College – is a fascinating place to visit … from the craft shop of Warren May where you can watch him carve beautiful dulcimers (and then listen to him play one) to the Appalachian Arts & Crafts and Quilt Shop to the intriguing history found at Berea’s many historical landmarks. And there is the glassblower’s shop, the Weaver’s Bottom Sudio, the live music concerts and so much more.
